The retreat operates on a beautiful, women owned and operated, organic and regenerative farm. The Dormouse Agriturismo.

The Copper Cauldron was magicked into existence by artist and owner of KrepkyComics and Member of Dormouse, Morgana, and is operated by her.

We have a lovely staff of two, Morgana and her mother, Cindy (Owner of Dormouse). Both of whom are friendly and easy to talk to. Morgana is both easygoing and vivacious, she is also full of local knowledge, and therefore your in-house verbal tour guide should you wish it. She is also available for workshops in her studio. The studio space can also be booked for guest use.

The retreat, studio, and farmhouse are all attached.

Peaceful, private accommodations set on a gentle ridge with coveted views of the Table Rocks. Simple comforts, small studio-ready spaces, and places to sit and watch the sky change.

Abundant wildlife as everyday companions: deer grazing at dawn, songbirds in symphonic company, raptors spiraling over thermals. Seasonal surprises may include bats, owls, and migrating waterfowl that visit the large pond.

Reconnection with place and process made possible with easy access to nearby walking trails, quiet privacy with optional interactions with the resident artist, abundant and fragrant gardens to soothe the mind and cheer the soul.

Simple meals and sweet treats available upon request from our farmhouse menu.

Practical details

Monet Goode, Instructor

The hills of Southern Oregon slow everything down — cleaner air, wider skies, and the steady pulse of seasonal life create the ideal environment for deep focus and gentle renewal.

The constant presence of wildlife and the variety of natural habitats keep sensory experience rich without overstimulation, fueling material, metaphor, and imagery for creative work.

The balance of structured prompts and generous unstructured time supports both practice and play, making space for breakthroughs and the kind of restful thinking that produces lasting work.
